Explaining the
*28-DAY SOUL COACHING PROGRAM… This is a powerful 28-day journey of cleansing, connection, inspiration, and transformation. Think of it as “detox” for your mind, body, spirit, and heart designed to balance, align, and invigorate your life. The 28-Day Soul Coaching Program is divided into four one-week periods with each week dedicated to one of the four elements and the four corresponding aspects of self: Days 1-7 – we use the element of Air to work with our Intellectual Self – clearing mental and physical clutter, assessing where you are versus where you want to be, empowering actions, aligning your life with your core values, exploring your soul mission Days 8-14 – we use the properties of Water to explore our Emotional Self – deep cathartic work to release victim-thinking, exploring energy levels, assessing relationships, reframing life experiences, being in gratitude Days 15-21 - with the element of Fire we work with our Spiritual Self – taking action, facing our “shadow self”, awakening your creative spirit, being present, being in abundance
Days 22-28 – using the element of Earth, we work with our Physical Self – connecting with your body, physical “detox”, awakening the natural forces within you, creating sacred spaces For each of the 28-day days there are practical, fun, and transformative exercises that are divided into three levels that you can choose from according to your time availability each day:
• Level 1: usually requires 15-30 minutes of your day
• Level 2: usually takes 30 to 60 minutes of your day.
• Level 3: takes as long as it takes! The 28-day Soul Coaching program will help you to de-clutter your life, connect to your intuitive self, release blockages that are keeping you stuck, identify your purpose, empower your actions, reduce stress and anxiety, align your outer life with your inner authentic self, and increase the energy, harmony, confidence, clarity, and joy in your
daily life. *The

Hello Precious Souls! I hope you're having a most abundant autumn (or spring for our friends in the Southern Hemisphere!) and thanks for taking the time to join me here for a few moments.
My current Soul Coaching group here in Toronto is working on the themes of fear and courage today, so I thought I'd talk a little bit about that in this month's newsletter.
Ahhhh…fear. We all have it, we all don't want it! But, in fact, if you find a lot of fear coming up right now in your life that can actually be a good sign. Fear often comes up when you are pushing the boundaries of your life and are on the precipice of new growth and adventure. This fear can present an opportunity to break free of limiting beliefs that may be keeping you STUCK. However, a fear not acknowledged and confronted can keep us playing very small in life. Fear can stop us from fully letting go and stepping into our light and our lives.
So how do you deal with fears – from the pesky gnawing ones to the full-blown cold-sweat-I-need-a-stiff-drink-NOW fear? Well, sorry to break this to you, but the only way past fear is through
it. However, I come armed with 3 steps you can take to go from fear to courage:
-
Acknowledge your fear - Get a pen and paper and write at the top of it “I'm afraid of…”. For 5 minutes solid, do not lift your pen from the paper
and pour out all your fears in writing. You'll notice your obvious fears will probably come out first, but if you can just keep that pen writing, some very interesting subconscious fears may eventually come to the surface. Just by acknowledging what you're afraid of, it has less power over you..."a
fear named, is a fear tamed".
-
Experience your fear – Our natural reaction is not to confront our
fears... it's to run from our fears. However, running from our fear takes far more energy in the long run than facing
it head-on. So pick a fear off of your list and imagine a worst case scenario around that fear – envision it, sense it, fully feel it, …dare I say, savor it? Then (it might feel like a stretch) imagine what you might actually be able to gain out of this seemingly dire scenario…is there any way you could survive or even thrive if this worst fear came true?
-
Take action – You've just become uncomfortably acquainted with this fear, now take
a tiny step today to face it, overcome it, or release it. The more little risks we take around this fear, the less potent it becomes. Fear can keep us paralyzed from fully stepping into who we are…fully opening ourselves up to life. However, the paralysis ends when you take a step...even if it's a baby step.
Being a person of COURAGE doesn't mean having no fear. On the contrary, it means absolutely
having fear, but acknowledging it and walking
towards it. Now get out there and kick fear's butt, my fine Courageous Souls!
Lots of love,
Kimberly

V for Vendetta is a 2005 dystopian science fiction-thriller. After Natalie Portman's character comes face to face with her worst fears, an awesome sense of freedom opens up in her and she is able to tune into her internal power...a force to be reckoned with. |

ENERGY WORK
The Soft-Belly Meditation from Stephen Levine's
excellent
book "A Year to Live" is such an effective and beautiful little
exercise for releasing the hold of fear and pain …

|
Taking a few deep
breaths, feel the body you breathe in.
Feel the body expanding and contracting with each breath.
Focus on the rising and falling of the abdomen.
Let awareness receive the beginning, middle, and end
of each inbreath, of each
outbreath
expanding and contracting the belly.
Note the constantly changing flow of sensation
in each inhalation, in each
exhalation.
And begin to soften all around these sensations.
Let the breath breathe itself in a softening belly.
Soften the belly to receive the breath,
to receive sensation, to
experience life in the body.
Soften the muscles that have held the fear for so long.
Soften the tissue, the blood vessels, the flesh.
Letting go of the holding of a lifetime.
Letting go into soft-belly, merciful belly.
Soften the grief, the distrust, the anger
held so hard in the belly.
Levels and levels of softening, levels and levels of
letting go.
Moment to moment allow each breath its full expression
in soft belly.
Let go of the hardness. Let it float
in something softer and kinder.
Let thoughts come and let them go,
floating like bubbles in the
spaciousness of soft-belly.
Holding to nothing, softening, softening.
Let the healing in.
Let the pain go.
Have mercy on yourself, soften the belly,
open the passageway to the heart.
In soft-belly there is room to be born at last,
and room to die when the moment
comes.
In soft-belly is the vast spaciousness in which to heal,
in which to discover our
unbounded nature.
Letting go into the softness,
fear floats in the gentle
vastness we call the heart.
Soft-belly is the practice that accompanies us throughout
the day
and finds us at day's end still
alive and well. |
